*Minecraft IRL: Tuesday, 3/7, 6:30pm

Due to an overwhelming response this fall, we’re holding this program again! Get outta the game and bring it INTO REAL LIFE with creeper toss and nerf gun targets, videos, 3D mushroom craft, pixel art, a hunt for elements, even bingo!

*Goosebumps Get Together: Tuesday, 3/21, 6:00PM

Let’s celebrate the release of R.L.Stine’s new Goosebump series, SlappyWorld, and the 25th anniversary of Goosebumps! Listen to excerpts around the campfire, play Witch’s Brew, formulate some monster blood, learn more about the author and design your own book cover!

*Captain Underpants!: Tuesday, 4/4, 1:00PM

We’re celebrating his 20th anniversary and new book series, Dog Man! We’ll don our red capes, find out our crazy superhero names, play with some toilet paper, maybe even decorate some underwear! We’ll wrap it up by watching the trailer for Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie premiering this summer!

*American Girl Party: Saturday, 4/29, 1:00PM

You and your doll are invited to an afternoon celebration highlighting the new Girl of the Year for 2017: Gabriela, a young tap dancer and poet with a stutter. Enjoy excerpts from Gabriela’s latest American Girl book, participate in theme-related crafts and activities, and break for a snack. Party is limited to the first 18 girls. Children must be 8 or older.

*Hour of Code: Tuesday, 5/16, 6:30PM

We live in a world of computers. Our world is made of information and “computational thinking” is a key skill for life today. During this program, kids will be introduced to Scratch, an online programming environment that can help them learn to code. They will be introduced to ReCon 6.0 Programmable Rover and create binary necklaces of their initials. Also, the Ozobots are back from our popular STEM program! Plug and play with LittleBits and use bananas to play PacMan with MakeyMakey!

*Event requires registration. Call 570-654-9847 to register.

Kids can join in the fun by participating in the "all-ages" activities listed on our Family Program page as well. For more information, click here.
