Shakespeare Insult Generator - All March Long

Stop by the Young Adult section to mix and match more than 150,000 insults in the bard’s own words! This collection of witty words from Shakespeare’s most pointed barbs will get you creatively combining them in hilariously stinging ways. Customize each insult to fit any situation that calls for a literary smackdown or thou a cuckoldy dull-brained blockhead!

*Bad Art Night: Tuesday, 4/15, 6:00PM

What do you get when you combine access to a pile of ridiculous art and craft material with a slide show of Pinterest Fails for inspiration? A silly, surprising and highly creative atmosphere with no pressure to make something “good.” Participants at this event are encouraged to make their worst piece of art to display in a Bad Art Exhibition at the end of the program. Browse the entries and cast a vote for your favorite. The creator of the “Worst Piece of Art” will win a hideously tacky prize.

*Metallic Origami Book Making: Tuesday, 5/23, 6:00PM

Turn ordinary brown paper into a shimmering origami book ready for pictures, doodles or journaling! Using sponges, stamps, and bubble wrap, you’ll first turn plain brown paper into metallic works of art. Then the folding begins as you crease, bend, pleat and tuck your way to an awesome, original book!

*Event Requires Registration. Call 570-654-9847 to register.

Young Adults can join in the fun by participating in the activities listed on our Family Programs page. For more information, click here.
