Kayak the Susquehanna River ($40; $30 if you have your own kayak or canoe)

The West Pittston Library invites you to join the professionals of Susquehanna River Adventures on a tour of the Susquehanna River like you’ve never seen it. This three-hour trip runs from Harding to Wyoming. Learn about stream ecology with Biologist on board, Dr. Garrett Barr from King’s College Biology & Environmental Program.

We’ll leave from the library at 7:30am on Saturday, July 10^th to drop off our vehicles, then caravan to our starting point. Bring snacks, water, sunscreen and old sneakers.

Details: Beginners welcome! Rain date is July 17^th. The cost is $40 or $30 if you have your own kayak or canoe. Register by July 6^th (no refunds after this date). If you are bringing your own boat, you must have a PFD. The West Pittston Library is located at 200 Exeter Avenue. Please call Anne Bramblett Barr at 654-9847 if you have any questions. *
