Friends of West Pittston Library

The Friends of the West Pittston Library are dedicated community members who serve the library by donating their time and skills to raise essential funds.  Their fundraising activities have enabled the library to purchase much needed supplies and materials essential to the operation of the library.

The Friends are always accepting new members. If you are interested in attending a meeting, please print and fill out the information form and return it to the library. To attend the monthly lunch meeting, please call the library for the next date.

Annual Book & Bake Sale

The largest fundraising event the Friends coordinate is the annual Book & Bake Sale. During this two-day event members of the community can support the library by purchasing raffle tickets, baked goods and, of course, books. This year's Book & Bake Sale will be held on June 25th and 26th from 9am to 3pm.

The Friends accept book donation year-round. However, a staff member must approve all donations. We ask that you do not leave donations on the front doorstep.
